A relaxing day spent at home, recouping from the previous late night’s fun.
We had a family day/night, where we each got to choose a game.
Clint choose ping-pong
I picked Clue (’cause I usually win)
Hudson wanted poker
Cline wanted to have laser gun wars
Sunny choose giant Jenga
Wren loved playing Quix (a great game that a wide variety of ages can play)
and Indie ….. she was thrilled flying around on her “beep-beep”

Daddy snuggles are way more rough and tumble than Mommy’s, but, (judging by all the giggles) every bit as popular

“My worst fear,” Wren (our picky eater) seriously confided in me “is that when I’m a mommy, I still won’t like lots of food.”
I wish you could have seen how large her eyes grew when I informed her that actually, Mommy’s can make whatever they want.

Annual Earl Gerber Family get-a-way
The kids pretty much took over the hot tub by sheer numbers.
They’d soak for a minute or two, and then the countdown would begin.
“5…….4……..3……..2……….1…….!”
and then the kids would race to the pool and jump in, thrash around, and dash back to the warmth of the hot tub.
Chardon had his own unique touch to the whole process. On his race to the pool, he’d yell loudly, “dah dah dah dah dah Bat-Man!”
