As a kid….ok, and as an adult, I’ve loved April Fool’s Day.

Now that my kids are older, they’re pretty hard to pull anything over on, but we all still get a kick out of it.

“Ostrich” eggs for breakfast.  Cline didn’t buy it, but Wren was in tears because she doesn’t like eggs to start with.

Poor Sunny came out of the bathroom with very wide eyes.
“Mom – that’s horrifying!  I peed my pants!”

Apple french – fries and meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potato icing

Usually, it’s Daddy giving the flip-flops, but Cline thought he’d give it a whirl.

Definitely worked better for Indie than Sunny – lol!

This girl has been sooooo into trouble lately.  She came into the school room looking extremely guilty, carrying a pen.  When I asked her to show me where/what she’d been drawing on, she sweetly led me to the table where some paper was.

Later that day, we found her secret hiding place behind the couch where she’d also been drawing on our china dinner plates.
