Figuring out our new chore chart responsibilities. In my wild imagination, this will create instinctually tidy kiddos, a mess free home and clear minded mama.
Just maybe……

Indie is slightly obsessed with checking the progress of my valentine gift from Clint.

Stained pajamas, passed down from Sunny to Wren to Indie + shiny black church boots, gotta have ’em. It’s Indie’s absolute favorite thing(s), and she audibly gasp when she spots the pajamas fresh from the laundry.

We stopped by the Library to pick up some books on hold and to let Wren choose a few to bring home. Little Ms. “In Charge” didn’t miss a thing, and quickly made her choice as well, proudly carrying them out to the van all by herself.
Indie also didn’t miss the instant that snacks and Gateraide were passed out to the YMCA basketball boys, and was quick to sneak in and swipe one for herself.
Meek and Mild does not come naturally to this gal.

I don’t know about you, but I’d be slightly concerned if that was my toothbrush lying on the counter……

It was a crazy crazy windy Sunday morning with Clint and Hudson ( the two who keep me on track and on schedule) gone.
I was a little late waking up, a little late getting the girls in the tub, breakfast not even a thought yet.
We’d just thrown in a pink and purple bath bomb for fun, and wouldn’t you know it, the lights blinked…..flickered…..and then went out.
No electricity.
Frugally, we used the brightly colored bathwater for all three girls, threw on lots of lotion afterwards, and headed down the road to do our hair at a Aunt Dana’s, ’cause thank goodness, she had power.
Phew.
